I don't eat olives.
Back in high school, I ate a whole can of black olives and then threw them up. Ever since, I have been unabe to eat olives.
I don't like the texture of sea urchin. So I don't eat that either.
What foods do you not eat?
xoxo,
Suzanne
Most fish, except scallops and salmon. Don't like the taste....
ReplyDeleteStrawberries (alergy) and raw things from the sea (except shrimp which I do like).
ReplyDeleteI love olives of all colors!!! Never ate a sea urchin. Doesn't sound good to me. I don't eat scallops, not because I don't like them but because they don't like me :(
ReplyDeleteLast month I tried warthog and crocodile. Both surprisingly good! W loves conch, yuck! Like rubber! NG.
Green bell peppers - the smell, the taste - yuck!
ReplyDeleteI stay away from really strong and stinky cheeses, strong fishy tasting fishes, anything really bitter, squid (only because it makes me ill), hot hot spices, and fat on meat.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the oddest one is peaches - no matter how hard I try, as soon as I take a bite from a fresh peach, my tongue has this autoreflex to spit it out. That one disappoints me.
Olives! They taste like copper pennies. Don't ask me how I know what copper pennies taste like!
ReplyDeletemy tastes have changed over the years. I used to not eat raw tomatoes or seafood, but now I'm on board. Seafood still isn't highest on the list of things I want to eat, though.
ReplyDeleteEggplant. I've given it a few good tries over the years, but I just can't stand the stuff.
ReplyDeleteBeets taste like dirt.
ReplyDeleteMy latest aversion is to bagels with cream cheese. Strange, I know but I recently went to my absolute favorite bagel place and, well, the cream cheese must have been bad. Bad bad bad cream cheese.
ReplyDeleteEither that or I had a concussion from smacking my head on ice while ice skating for the 1st time in 20 years.
Regardless, go away cream cheese.
Dates {{{shudder}}}
ReplyDeleteSquash sends me right over the edge!
