  4. Hate to get all sappy (ha!) and melodramatic but here is what I think:
    Seasons change. Leaves fall but always with the anticipation of the emerging spring. It helps us learn to cherish the splendor when the branches are full again.

    Ick. Who said that? Not it.

    Dogwood – just in case the next question is what is your favorite tree.

    Nice call on the tree question! Mine's the tree my treehouse was in behind the house on Tanglewood Lane (when I was 8).
