Sunday. Twenty four hours of freedom before you're forced to be productive again. Time to curl up with a book, go on a hike, simmer a big pot of Granny Stew, work in the garden, hang out with friends, hit the beach, watch lifetime movies or simply nap.
Clearly, Sunday is my favorite day of the week. What's yours? And why?

I of course love my kids and the weekend but Monday and Wednesday are the days that Z-nado goes to daycare. I think those two days may be moving up in the polls for me.
ReplyDeleteFriday. I like the anticipation of the weekend. There's something about deluding myself that I'll be able to get a lot done that appeals to me. ;)
ReplyDeleteI think Saturday because I love college football, I can run a couple errands and still catch a nap when my daughter does. Also, I love knowing that after all is said and done, I still have a whole other day to do nothing if I want.
ReplyDeleteSunday, because I don't do laundry on Sunday and usually take a nap.
ReplyDeleteIts a toss up. I love Fridays and the anticipation of the weekend and I love Saturdays even though I work. But, the mere freedom of most of the day and knowing I'll be outdoors in the morning with friends and then again having fun with friends at night is quite appealing!
ReplyDeleteI love Fridays. It's movie night in our house. I make a big dinner, my brother comes over, my husband is home early. I make popcorn for the kids and we snuggle on the sofa to watch a video together. Friday is for family. It's the best!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that while I love my family, Monday is my favorite day of the week. Everyone's gone and I can enjoy the peace and quiet for a few hours.
ReplyDeleteUm, Sunday was chore day and not blog day. But we did our part for the sagging economy and buy a stove.
