Whole-family party with friends, which means our friends will bring their kids along, so it'll be kind of like a double party, with the kids in one room and us in the other. Happy new year!!! : )
Supposed to ring in the new year at a kid-friendly par-tay but 2 out of 3 kids are sick and I'm having horrible back issues. So hub & healthy child will party w/o us.
Sounds horrible but I actually love staying in on New Years Eve.
I'm working right now until 9 pm. Then I'll have some bubbly with my workmates on the roof, get gussied up, then head downtown to Federation Square to watch the fireworks and hang with the other revellers.
I was supposed to go to a party at my neighbours', but I am sick, so I'm staying put. Snuggled up in bed with a good book, probably passing out before midnight.

ReplyDeleteNothing, which is how I like it. I've never been one big on going out on NYE. Being married to a cop had a lot to do with that.
