Question of the Day #1,136

"We went to this place called 'The Sugar Factory'," said R.

"Sounds dangerous," I said.

"That's like naming a restaurant, 'The Fat Shop'," said J.

"Don't get me wrong, I'd probably go to both places," I said.

"Yeah. But they're kind of weird names for eateries," said R.

What oddly named establishments have you seen?

  1. Chubby Burger! I thought it was amusing. I tried it once (before I stopped eating meat) and it was amazing!

  2. Risky Business Seafood on the Outer Banks of NC.
We decided it might be too risky to eat their food.

  3. This isn't a restaurant or anything, but there used to be a Scott Payne, D.D.S., in my home town. Have to wonder if his name scared away a few potential patients!

  4. There is a chain of restaurants here in San Francisco called "Squat and Gobble". I just cant bring myself to go in there.

  5. The Other Place is a bar/restaurant across the street from a very popular establishment named The Fin and Feather.

  6. I'm drawing a blank. Well, except for Hooters.
