Last week, on the phone, she said, "The elves are driving me nuts!"
"The elves?" I asked.
"Yes, they're being very naughty. I keep telling them to behave, but they don't listen."
"I see," I said.
"Oh, you'll see," she said.
Turns out, she's right. They're hanging from the chandelier.
And swinging from the railings.

ReplyDeleteI get a little nutty about the electrical cords...I think it spoils the effect when they're too visible.
The Christmas tree. I decide on themes, and the proper execution must happen. I even coach my little one on how to decide where to hang ornaments.
ReplyDeleteLights on the tree. My kids tried putting only two strings on it this year, and I had a fit (then added at least four more strings). Merry Christmas!
