Question of the Day #827

The Fun Theory is a site dedicated to changing people's behavior for the better. Check out this video and see how the experiment got more people to take the stairs by making it fun to do.

Cool, huh? At http://www.thefuntheory.com/, people increased recycling, decreased littering and multiplied the amount of drivers who obeyed the speed limit by making it fun.

What everyday task would you like The Fun Theory to put their spin on?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I love this video. My son showed it to me a while ago. I'll have to visit thefuntheory. Sounds like a great idea. Can they show me a way to make cleaning the house and paying bills fun?

  2. I'd rather like it if The Fun Factory could encourage corporations to make packaging and chemicals disappear from their products, and to make their products last longer.

  3. Getting my kids ready for school in the morning. Right now it SUCKS.

  4. I saw this! Love it. It's just sad, in a way, that we can't have fun playing on the stairs without the music.

  5. Is there a video or way to make going to work fun? How about every job is a work from home.

  6. If I was a billionaire, I'd be doing something like this for laundry. Dishes. Vacuuming. Oh heck, who am I kidding? If I was a billionaire, I'd be buying creative stuff like that for my cleaning staff.

  7. Wow, what a cool concept. I really admire people's creativity. I like the idea of making public spaces more creative and engaging like the stairs shown. Let people experience the joy of their bodies!

  9. I love those stairs. Not that I need them. I hate using escalators (I have a fear of them), so I use the stairs whenever possible. :D

  11. I have no idea, but I wish more people would be in the fun-mindset. So many walk around all grumpy and it affects everyone else. Love the stairs!
