Question of the Day #361

We started with The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Interesting, since it's based on a true story. But not scary.

We then moved onto Scream. I jumped - no, more like lurched - once. The majority of the time, I giggled.

And then we capped off Halloween night, in the dark, with The Shining. Creepy? Yes. Scary? Not so much.

So let's recap. I saw Paranormal Activity, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Scream and The Shining this week and didn't find any of them to be frightening.

Is there something wrong with me?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  2. If you told me that old school 'The Omen' didn't scare you, now I'd worry ...

  3. I thought the commercial for Emily Rose was scarier than the movie. But it was interesting as we watched it for a joke because we always joked that our daughter Emily needed an exorcism. Then she ended up with epilipsy like the main character. Bizarre.
I did like Scream and probably jumped at the same part as you!

  5. No, but you're really missing out on the fun of being scared to death.

  6. YOU WENT TO THE MOVIE THEATRE WITHOUT ME!!!!!!

I'm with ya - movies these days don't scare me much, not like the ones in the 80's....you should have rented Halloween! Always know he's coming but that freaky music gets me everytime!
