Question of the Day #1,306

You know when you're a kid and you're looking for your shoes for hours and you can't find them and the minute you ask Mom for help, she finds them in two seconds? This morning is like that.
Or when I struggle to open a jar of pickles and the BF unscrews it with the first twist? This morning is like that.
Do you know what I mean? Does that happen to you?
xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. Kids can't find something, I've had lots of experience with that. Secret part of the brain that is downloaded at moment of birth, called "See everything, do everything, be everything LOBE" Mother and child may be detached but the two brains are still connected-wireless version. so even if mom doesn't know where the little one left her shoes she can zip-line via wireless to the child's memory and know exactly where the shoes are and can fetch them in a split second before a full blown meltdown occurs. Fathers have the other version downloaded---called "Go ask your mother LOBE". Jar of pickles or any jar, I really don't want to strain that hard so I usually look like I'm trying to open then fast and mad hand it off. Saves lots of energy better needed to find things. Love L

  3. The way you open a jar of pickles is to break the vacuum seal. And the way you do that is to slip a smallish flat head screwdriver under the rim of the lid and give it a twist. Poof! the seal is broken and the lid comes right off.
