Question of the Day #1,303

One thing I notice as I get older is that I like to plan. I like to know what's going to happen, when it's going to happen and how it's going to happen.

I prefer to back into situations so I'm on time, polished and ready to go.

This doesn't mean I'm rigid and can't be spontaneous, because I can dash off in the convertible with 10 minutes notice. But for most things, on most days, I find I'm more productive when I have a plan to follow.

How about you? Are you a planner? What works for you?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I've been a lifelong planner. And while I still take comfort in a solid plan, I'm finding with age, I'm becoming more spontaneous. It's also not unusual for me to be late to functions and stuff now.

  2. Heck, I plan all the time. I'm kind of freakish about making lists.

  3. I tend to have a general sense of what's going to happen or what the plan will be and then I am flexible to deal with whatever happens. I'm more of a go-with-the-flow type, but I like to have a general sense of where the flow is going. When it comes to being productive, writing lists and ticking off the tasks makes me feel satisfied.

  4. I like a plan, too. But there has to be plan A or B or C or I feel things don't evolve well.
Although at times I have been known to wing it!
