It's iffy. She is highly critical of my choices in at least 6 different areas,so I spent a lot of my life making decisions based on how she would react.
On the other hand, every single time I have needed her she has stepped up to help me.
My mother doesn't understand what unconditional love or support means. It's been a lifetime of hurt, and I still struggle to reconcile with the fact that I will never have it.
There's a reason why all those college ballplayers say "HI MOM" when the cameras are on them...

Well that just gave me chills all over! My was always there for me, my first cheerleader. I miss her.
