Simply V. says she doesn't. ;)
I'm amused when people do it on their blog. In person, it would really annoy me.
I see it online mostly. Not so much in real life conversations.
It's super retarded (for lack of a better word). Never in person, but, yes, online. Simply V is simply cool!
True story: I once went on a date where she constantly did that. "Debra would like a drink." At first I thought it was cute, like an ice-breaker, but it continued. "Tell Debra more about yourself." "Debra would rather have coffee home, she thinks the coffee here sucks."I think you can guess how I ended the evening. "Charlie says goodnight."
Just the little neighbor girl and it's freaking cute.
I don't really know any offenders at the moment. I'd say you could get away with it on rare occasions for effect, but if it were constant = annoying.
