Question of the Day #1,192

Yesterday, the gas went out. Then the Internet died. And when I went to spark the heat lamp, the propane tank was empty.

So I gave up on Tuesday.

How do you know when to quit?

  1. Ugh. I've had those days. When the power goes, I toss in the towel.

  2. When I say to myself "this is like banging my head on a brick wall"

  3. When I re-stub my already stubbed toe, or bang my finger that's already been banged, or bump my bruised thigh into the corner of the table...

  4. Knowing when things are hopeless, such as trying to use the force to move traffic out of the way, is a good time to quit.

It's important to note that feeling like there's no hope is very different, and you should never quit then. Never never never.

  5. It comes in threes.
    What is the question again??????
How do U spell QUIT and what does it mean? (Actually I had to look up the spelling for QUIT!! It didn't look right.)
    That is the question,
I agree with C R. There is no , no ,no, quit.
    It's just a hangnail in life. ( oooooo, I like that :)
No quitting. Not an option. no rolling over.
Can't wait to see what is next.

  6. When my eyes are burning and my nose starts running and then I remember I have to get up at 4:50 a.m.

  7. That is craziness! :p
Sometimes when things get crazy, it's good to just sleep it off ... things are better in the morning! :)

  8. When I start dropping things -- or breaking stuff by accident.
