"Okay, smile!" K said. Then she took a picture of her daughters buckled in the back seat of my convertible.
"When I was a kid, my dad took pictures all the time. I'd say, 'Daaaaad, stop!' Now, I'm my dad." She laughed.
"Too funny," I said.
"I call that a boomerang," she said.
