Last night, I bumped into a friend of a friend.

"Hi Nelly!" he said and hugged me.

I didn't bother to correct him.

"Hi K! So good to see you. How have you've been?"

"Great!" he said.

What name, other than your own, have people accidentally called you?

    I get called Renee a lot. Sometimes they'll say Rayna. It's Ree-na, just like Tina.

    Tim, Tod, Mike, Steve, John, Fruity, and Smalls. More often than not I get "What was your name again?"

    When I introduce myself on the phone, I often get the response, "Hi Andrea" or "Hi Nancy."
