Recently, H went to Europe. She brought me chocolate and pate from Paris and socks from London.
Socks may seems like a weird travel gift, but I just put them on and it's like my feet are being hugged. Seriously. There's a stretchy arch support and the ball and heel of my foot are cushiony padded.
Hugging socks. Definitely the most decadent socks I've ever worn.
What are your favorite socks like?

Suzanne
Hmn. It depends on the season. Right now I like the little white sport socks with little to no ankle. In winter I love these pair of wool socks my mom got me. It reminds me of her.
ReplyDeleteYou tend to draw out the weirdo in me :-) My fave socks have cute pink piggies on them. And they fit like gloves, a pocket for each toe.
ReplyDeleteHaines makes a great sock too. Cute little white peds with lots of "hug" at the arch. I love them! In fact, I'm wearing them right now.
ReplyDeleteThere is a family friend in Nova Scotia who knits the most amazing wools socks. They fit perfectly, are lightweight, non-scratchy wool, and come in the best colours.
ReplyDeleteI also have a pair of Wright socks that are double-lined to prevent blisters. They are uber-comfy; I always wear them when I know I will be doing a lot of walking.
My Under Armour ski socks. 'nuff said.
ReplyDeleteThey don't have holes in them. Right now, I don't have any favorite socks. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhite. (Are my feet boring or what?)
ReplyDeleteChampion golf socks because they don't cover my ankles!
ReplyDeleteIt might sound weird, but I love the ones you get at the hospital. I have wooden stairs and those little grippy things on the bottom of the socks have saved my sorry ass more than once.
