Once upon a time, several years ago, at a taco shack in Honolulu, I had the most amazing fish tacos ever. The fish tasted like ocean. The cabbage crunched and the sauce...oh, the sauce. It was light, yet savory, with a tiny kick. I could have drank a cup of it.
Every few days, I think about these fish tacos. If I could afford it, I'd go back to Honolulu just for the tacos.
What meal was so good that you can't forget it?

Mmmmm. So many good meals. Nothing comes to mind, but I've had some good'n's!
ReplyDeleteI do absolutely love the creme brulee at a certain local place!
The truffles I are in one of my earlier lives at Le Valois in New York.
ReplyDeleteAnd the dinner prepared a year ago by my friend Damon Kirsche: filet mignon sauteed with caramelized onions in a sour cream and sherry sauce, and served with an Old Root Cabernet that was as good as the Lafite Rothschild I drank in another of my earlier lives.
We went to South Beach and asked for the best burger joint in town. It was the Burger & Beer Joint. That was 2 years ago and still ranks as the best burger I've ever had.
ReplyDeleteI would like to even get to Hawaii and have that meal....someday.
