For many of the same reasons you stated, I too love the rain. Additionally, I love how fresh it makes and green it makes everything. I love gardening in the rain (it's a great time to declare war on unwanted taproots), and I also love getting on my wellies to walk in the rain and splash in puddles with my daughter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592655422199331070.post-75749571927866702232011-10-06T11:50:24.836-07:002011-10-06T11:50:24.836-07:00I don't mind rain from time to time. I do like it when I'm just in my house, not doing much, and I can go out and actually enjoy it!Zinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10788195778399991380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592655422199331070.post-50359420641488030382011-10-06T07:39:29.611-07:002011-10-06T07:39:29.611-07:00I like how it forces one to slow down. When I was a kid, I wanted the snow to be 6 foot deep. As an adult, I still want it, (even though it's a pain in the ass to remove.)

Rain usually meant a day off from work. (I'm an ironworker) After 30 years of having fun from my days off, Rain = Fun!

And while I'm at it...
1,073 - No, not really.
1,072 - Piano
1,071 - After travelling around the country this past month, I prefer Colorado over my hometown New York City.
1,070 - Great question, and a revealing story; thank you. For me, coming out of my shell.

Okay, that's enough. Yeah, as you can see, my humor is out there. :)Charlie Ricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02347938747849177632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592655422199331070.post-21091224269059108862011-10-05T14:19:33.052-07:002011-10-05T14:19:33.052-07:00I've always loved the rain. And sometimes at night after a rain the frogs got so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. As an angsy teenager rainy days always played into my mood and I would feel connected. The earth was weepy and so was I...

I miss the rain. This drought in Texas is making everything look so sad. I'd love to see rain again, long days of gray overcast and a slow soaking rain.Bish Denhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13359927719391990534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592655422199331070.post-88848508852191342612011-10-05T09:35:00.849-07:002011-10-05T09:35:00.849-07:00The fact that it rarely rains here in LA - yeah su...The fact that it rarely rains here in LA - yeah sure, I miss new england seasons, but then I head to the beach & all is wellTodd Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12172567478459786316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592655422199331070.post-64638559057117453822011-10-05T09:22:49.138-07:002011-10-05T09:22:49.138-07:00I love when heavy rain turns into thundershowers. ...I love when heavy rain turns into thundershowers. There is nothing more awesome than watching lightening flash across the sky...when you're safe inside your house with a warm cup of coffee.

I also love how rain gives me the perfect excuse to hide out in my house with my jammies on, curled up on the couch with a good book.
